Client Terms & Conditions

1. Status of These Terms

a. These Terms & Conditions apply to all tutoring services provided by PassCraft Tutors.

b. PassCraft Tutors reserves the right to amend these Terms & Conditions at any time. Updated terms will be made available to Clients in writing or via the PassCraft Tutors website.

c. These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of England and Wales.

d. By booking tuition with PassCraft Tutors, the Client confirms acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.

2. Provision of Services

a. PassCraft Tutors provides private tuition directly to Students. All tutoring services are delivered by PassCraft Tutors unless otherwise stated.

b. Tuition is tailored to the Student’s needs based on information provided by the Client but does not guarantee specific academic results or examination outcomes.

c. PassCraft Tutors reserves the right to refuse or discontinue tuition where it is deemed inappropriate, unsafe, or unworkable.

3. Fees & Payment

a. Tuition fees are agreed in advance and confirmed in writing.

b. Invoices are sent every two weeks and fees are payable on receipt.

c. Late or unpaid invoices may result in suspension of tuition until payment is received.

d. PassCraft Tutors reserves the right to revise fees with reasonable notice.

4. Cancellations & Missed Lessons

a. Clients must give at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule a lesson.

b. Lessons cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice will be charged in full, except in cases of genuine emergency.

c. If PassCraft Tutors must cancel a lesson, an alternative session will be offered or the fee credited.

d. Repeated cancellations may result in termination of services.

5. Scope of Tuition

a. Tuition is provided for educational support only and does not replace school teaching or professional educational assessment.

b. Homework support, exam preparation, or revision strategies are provided as part of tuition where agreed, but responsibility for completion of schoolwork remains with the Student.

c. PassCraft Tutors does not guarantee improvements in grades, exam performance, or school placement outcomes.

6. Safeguarding & Conduct

a. PassCraft Tutors is committed to safeguarding children and young people and complies with all relevant UK safeguarding legislation and guidance.

b. Clients agree to ensure:

  • A suitable, quiet learning environment for tuition

  • Respectful behaviour from Students during lessons

  • A parent or guardian is aware of all tutoring sessions

c. Online lessons will take place on secure platforms and in a professional setting.

d. PassCraft Tutors reserves the right to suspend or terminate tuition if safeguarding or behavioural concerns arise.

7. Data Protection (UK GDPR)

a. PassCraft Tutors collects and processes Client and Student data solely for the purpose of delivering tutoring services, including scheduling, communication, billing, and record-keeping.

b. All personal data is handled securely and in compliance with the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018.

c. Personal data will not be shared with third parties for marketing or commercial purposes.

d. Clients have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of their personal data.

8. Liability

a. PassCraft Tutors will provide tuition with reasonable skill and care but does not accept liability for academic outcomes.

b. PassCraft Tutors is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from the provision of tuition, except where liability cannot be excluded by law.

c. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

9. Termination

a. Either party may terminate the tutoring arrangement with reasonable notice.

b. PassCraft Tutors reserves the right to terminate services immediately in cases of:

  • Non-payment

  • Repeated cancellations

  • Breach of these Terms

  • Inappropriate or abusive behaviour

c. Any outstanding fees remain payable following termination.

10. Complaints

a. Any concerns or complaints should be raised directly with PassCraft Tutors as soon as possible.

b. PassCraft Tutors will make reasonable efforts to resolve complaints promptly and fairly.
